PROCEDURE TO FILE COMPLAINT OF VIOLATION

1. Complete complaint form - SIGN - then mail or fax with DOCUMENTATION to the MLS department at ATS, Inc. (972 - 491-3180 attn: MLS Director)
   
2. The MLS department will do follow-up investigation to determine if complaint is valid and may require you to provide additional information.
   
3. The MLS department may send an Inquiry of Complaint to the alleged violator.
   
4. If the complaint is determined to be valid, a written report will be submitted to the MLS Rules and Regulations Sub-Committee for consideration.
   
5. After consideration, the MLS Rules and Regulations Sub-Committee will determine if the complaint is to be forwarded to the MLS Committee.
   
6. The MLS Committee will then determine a course of action, if any, and applicable fines.

An ATS member who has a concern or observation regarding MLS may call the MLS Department without filing a complaint.

It is always best for the two brokers involved to contact each other prior to filing a complaint. Most situations can be resolved by getting the broker directly involved.
