Installation 2007

	Close to 600 people attended the CCAR Installation of President Bob Baker on January 19th at the Plano Centre. Also installed were Jacob Narisi as President Elect, Kay Wright as Secretary/Treasurer and the new Directors for 2007. 2007 TAR President Avis Wukasch served as Mistress of Ceremonies and installed the officers. Mike Brodie, past TAR President and long-time friend of Bob Baker, swore in the new President of CCAR.
Other highlights of the evening included the presentation of the REALTOR® of the Year Award to Olin Jaye (Olin Jaye and Associates) and the Affiliate of the Year Award to Catherine Valentino (Commerce Title).		2006 President Gerry Russell gave her parting words and announced her choices for the Distinguished Service Award. Recipients were Charly Clark, (Keller Williams, Plano) and Gerald Vokolek, (RE/MAX Dallas Suburbs).
An unexpected surprise for Bob was a roast presented by Dick Dilingham, JC Posey and David Fair (via video). Also, Marilyn Monroe look-alike, Sherry Lowry, sang Happy Birthday Mr. President.	Entertainment was provided by Vince Vance and the Valiants. At the end of the Installation program, many guests stayed to dance the night away!
