A long-time resident of the Dallas area, Meredith Held has lived in Texas since 1973. Before earning her REALTOR® license in 2003 and dedicating herself to the real estate profession, she enjoyed a career at Electronic Data Systems where she handled, among other duties, special projects for Ross Perot. Later, she became an outstanding teacher in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District in Houston.
Meredith is a past member of the CCAR Housing Opportunity Committee, where she helped draft brochures highlighting the financing opportunities available for police, fire and school professionals. She was also one of the first REALTORS® to graduate from the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program at CCAR. In addition, she has served on task forces at CCAR-the Plano Networking Task Force, which she chaired, and the Conflict of Interest Task Force. Meredith is currently a member of CCAR's Budget and Finance Committee, a position she's held since 2009.
Meredith holds the designation of Accredited Buyers Representative and is also a member of the Council of Residential Specialists. She is the 2010 Director for the Dallas Region of the Lone Star CRS Chapter. Additionally, she belongs to the Women's Council of REALTORS® and the Frisco Chamber of Commerce; she serves as an Ambassador in the latter organization. In 2007, Meredith became a Director for CCAR, as well as a Director for the Texas Association of REALTORS® and continues to serve in both capacities.
