Shan Afzal has been the Technical Advisor for CCAR and it's members since 2002, and he has now moved into the role of Systems Administrator. Prior to coming to CCAR Shan taught technology courses at Collin County Communtiy College. He was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to United States in 1999. While in Pakistan he obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science. Shan's duties and responsibilities at CCAR consist of providing technical support to it's members, long range technology planning for CCAR and ensuring the availability of all systems for members and employees. In his spare time, Shan enjoys playing Crickett, Basketball, and has been known to make lots of noise with his electric guitar.
