It’s been a busy and deeply rewarding month for the NTRIAF Community Outreach Committee at CCAR, and we couldn’t be more proud of the impact we’re making across North Texas!
First, we kicked things off with our “Pathway to Homeownership” seminar—a dynamic, hands-on educational event designed to empower and inform future homeowners in our community. This wasn’t your average info session! We brought together a full panel of real estate professionals to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the homebuying journey.
From REALTORS® and mortgage professionals to insurance agents, home inspectors, home warranty experts, and title associates, each speaker shared their expertise and offered real-world guidance on navigating the path to owning a home. Our goal was to break down
barriers, answer questions, and make homeownership feel more achievable—and we absolutely delivered!
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and the energy in the room was incredible. It was clear that people left feeling not just informed but inspired. We’re already working on the next seminar, coming this fall, and can’t wait to expand our reach even further. Stay tuned for announcements—you won’t want to miss it!
But the month didn’t stop there—our committee also had the incredible honor of partnering with The Samaritan Inn to fully furnish a Gateway Apartment for a resident working to rebuild their life. We helped transform an empty unit into a warm, welcoming home, complete with all the essentials and thoughtful touches to make it feel special.
This experience was truly heartwarming. Being part of someone's fresh start and knowing that we played a role in creating stability, comfort, and hope for a family in transition—it’s hard to put into words. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
Whether it's educating our neighbors or giving back through service, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those around us. Our work is rooted in the belief that strong communities are built not just with homes, but with compassion, collaboration, and care.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported these efforts. We couldn’t do this without you. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue building brighter futures—together.
