Together for the Children: A Night of Hope and Healing at Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County’s Gala

On a night filled with purpose, compassion, and community, the Collin County Area REALTORS® (CCAR) had the honor of serving as the honorary chair for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County’s (CACCC) annual Gala—an unforgettable evening dedicated to healing, hope and safeguarding our most vulnerable.

The Gala, CACCC’s largest fundraiser of the year, is a testament to our collective resolve to end child abuse in Collin County. Every dollar raised, every story shared, and every hand extended in partnership reinforces the strong foundation that allows children to grow and heal after experiencing the trauma of abuse.

As guests arrived in elegant gowns and tuxedos, the room buzzed with a shared sense of purpose. One of the evening’s most memorable moments came when CCAR President Jennifer Parker took the stage to speak on behalf of CCAR. Below is her powerful message to the attendees.

Good evening, everyone.

It is an honor to be here tonight on behalf of Collin County Area REALTORS®—or CCAR—as the honorary chair of this incredible event. At CCAR, we believe in building strong communities—not just through real estate, but through service, advocacy, and supporting organizations that make a real difference.

And you’d be hard-pressed to find a greater difference-maker than the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County.

As REALTORS®, we understand that a home is more than just four walls and a roof. It’s a place of comfort, security, and hope—a foundation for a brighter future. But for too many children in our community, that sense of safety has been taken away.

That’s why the Children’s Advocacy Center is so vital. It provides refuge for children and families impacted by abuse, ensuring that no child walks the path to healing alone. Even more incredibly, these life-changing services are offered completely free for life.

Tonight, we have the opportunity to stand together for the most vulnerable among us—to ensure that every child has the chance to feel safe, valued, and protected.

On behalf of CCAR, thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your commitment to this mission. Let’s make this a night of impact, hope, and lasting change.

Enjoy your evening!

-Jennifer Parker, CCAR President
