The City of Plano recently introduced a new Short Term Rental Ordinance and we had the pleasure of sitting down with city officials to talk about it.
Christina Day, Director of Planning and Curtis Howard, Director of Neighborhood Services shared with us why the City of Plano took action with short term rentals, what it means for future and current renters and landlords, as well as how this ordinance can help preserve a safe standard of living for Plano homeowners. They also introduce a new STR registration process, and where to go to find all the need-to-know information for those interested in purchasing a home for renting purposes.
