On March 27, 2025, the CCAR and MetroTex Board of Directors voted to approve a Plan of Merger. This vote allows both associations to participate in a due diligence period. By merging the two strongest associations in the region, we hope to take a significant step forward for the real estate industry in North Texas.
If after due diligence the Boards of both associations vote to move forward, the ultimate decision to merge will be in the hands of our members.
This is not simply about combining two organizations, but about creating a unified voice for real estate professionals at a time when our industry demands it. Together, we have the expertise, history, and vision to enhance services, advocate more effectively, and create a more resilient and forward-thinking association. The real estate industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and by coming together, we ensure that our members remain at the forefront of that evolution.
This merger is about scale and strength. A unified association will wield greater influence in advocacy, provide expanded professional development opportunities, and offer more robust resources to every member. We will be better equipped to serve our communities, support our members’ success, and navigate the ever-changing landscape.
